Na te viduḥ svārtha-gatiṁ hi viṣṇuṁ [SB 7.5.31]. Na tu te 'pi guru pati syāt viṣṇu jñāsyasi tatra bhak bahir viṣaye bahavo yeṣāṁ te bahir arthas tann eva guru tena mantra śīlaṁ yeṣāṁ te. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 7.5.30
Na te viduḥ. Viduḥ means knowing; na means not. Na te viduḥ svārtha-gatim. Na te viduḥ svārtha-gatiṁ hi viṣṇum. Similarly, na te viduḥ svārtha-gatiṁ hi viṣṇum [SB 7.5.31]. Mām eva ye prapadyante māyām etāṁ taranti te: "But if somebody surrenders unto Me..."

Prabhupāda: varīyān eṣa te praśnaḥ kṛto loka-hitam nṛpa ātmavit-sammataḥ puṁsāṁ śrotavyādiṣu yaḥ paraḥ Varīyān eṣa te praśnaḥ. Na te viduḥ svārtha-gatiṁ hi viṣṇuṁ [SB 7.5.31], that is also explained. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 3.25.28
That submissiveness Kṛṣṇa..., Arjuna is teaching us, śiṣyas te 'haṁ śādhi māṁ prapannam. I am becoming Your disciple, submissive," śiṣyas te 'haṁ śādhi māṁ prapannam [Bg. 2.7]. Athāpi te deva ciraṁ vicinvan [SB 10.14.29]. Śiṣyas te 'ham, "I have become śiṣya." Śiṣya means voluntarily accepting his ruling. Śiṣyas te 'haṁ śādhi māṁ prapannam [Bg. 2.7].

Bhagavad-gītā 7.1
