Śrīla Prabhupāda relished his own internal ecstasies, and he chose to keep them internal. He told us that the Bhaktivedanta purports were his personal ecstasies.
Śrīla Prabhupāda was deeply attached to guru and Kṛṣṇa.
He did not often talk about his own guru, which suggests that he had a very special, somewhat private, relationship that we could not understand much about. When he did speak about his spiritual master, it was with tremendous love and gratefulness.
Śrīla Prabhupāda’s deep love for Kṛṣṇa was manifest by his constant endeavor to establish Kṛṣṇa’s mission. His love for Kṛṣṇa in His Deity form was also obvious. It was certainly not a show. He was always concerned that the Deities which he had installed should be properly cared for, and always became deeply upset if They were in any way mistreated.
