“He is my lord, birth after birth.”
Devotee: Prabhupāda, if the spiritual master has a mission, is it proper for the disciple to think that he can take many births to help the mission of the spiritual master?
Śrīla Prabhupāda: When the spiritual master goes somewhere, his nearest assistants automatically go there to help him. (Conversation, 11 July 1976)
Śrīla Prabhupāda, please let me come on your eternal traveling saṅkīrtana party. Please do not just send me off to the spiritual world and leave me there. What would I do there, anyway? Please, Śrīla Prabhupāda, I may be talking all nonsense, but I really want to please you and serve your mission.
Śrīla Prabhupāda, if you are still traveling throughout the mundane universes rescuing the fallen souls, surely your intimate disciples will be going with you. Śrīla Prabhupāda, please be so kind as to accept me also in your eternal retinue. Let me be with you, birth after birth. Let me see your amazing pastimes in different planets, as you deliver men, demigods, demons, and all varieties of moving and nonmoving living entities.
Rāmānanda Rāya was a sajātīya, a person within the intimate circle of Lord Caitanya, fully accepted by Him. (Cc Madhya 8.28) Others were vijātīya, not a part of the Lord’s team. Śrīla Prabhupāda, I want to be a part of your jāta, your family. The worst imaginable thing is to be a vijātīya, outside your group.
